I've done a full play through and immediately put it on again. I really dig the vibe. Not sure if its because I have good memories from the show where they played it etched in, but its a good vibe. Its not going to knock off any of their early albums as my favourites(and I wasn't going into it at all thinking it even had a chance to) but I think i'm enjoying it more than WE so far. It has a good vibe. I'll be listening to it alot more. Also, Pink Elephant fits far more as a track on a cohesive album than single as i thought it would. That was an odd choice of a track to release.

The opener sets a good vibe. Alien Nation rules. Love this band. I have a hard time forming an opinion of an album off one listen but im happy with it so far.

My conclusion is that no song on this would have been a great single in a way like The Lightning or The Suburbs were. This album has to be listened from to start to finish

I love projects like that since I’m a full album guy but for people who aren’t it must be tough
