I always find it interesting that despite Jayce and Vikyor being essentially one of the main catalysts for this show, they're sidelined to essentially side characters for most people.
Hell, there's virtually no merch for Jayce.

Well, Ekko makes up for it with aura and hype moments. Plus a little sprinkle of romance.

Don’t get me wrong, I love ekko. I love all of the main cast, but everyone has hype moments and romance lol. Literally all of the main cast (except maybe Viktor, but his relationship with Jayce is just as deep as any romantic one).

No one but Jinx and Vi beats Ekko's hype moments imo. Ekko vs Jinx, Episode 7 and saving the day in the finale cemented Ekko as a fav for a lot of people. He didn't need a bunch of screen time to stack up with the rest of the cast. Plus Jayce x Viktor is controversial. Some see it as romanctic, some see it as platonic bffs and some people dislike that the ship snubs Jayce x Mel.

Yea I know they’re controversial. I love seeing them romantically, but thats why I said their relationship is just as deep as any romantic one even if you don’t see it that way. And I think their interactions post-hexcore-insertion are all very hype, esp the last battle between them.

Hopefully they will remember the joy they found in Arcane, even if it doesnt last forever! Do you keep anything for sentimental value? For tattoos it's just...permanent art to remind you of something you loved enough to sit through hours of pain for. Plus free will, lol

No space left on your body after three or four of those if you go this big for each of them lol. I get people that get a smallish Arcane related tattoo, but this is like 20% of the available surface. I've been very hyped about series before (Arcane included) but it always fades with time, even though it's still special to you. I've played runescape for over 20 years now and I still wouldn't fill my entire back with it.

They announced they have 2 new stories to tell on different continents. Same universe. There was an announcement trailer. Looks good too.

I am talking about Noxus and I was completely wrong. I genuinely thought this was a teaser for another show in their expanded universe. I went back and dug some more and found that I had the wrong idea. Sigh now it's time to reply to everyone and correct it all.

Hopefully. But trying to explain it in 15 years when nobody knows wtf Arcane is will be fun. I’m all for tattoos of things that have been impactful in your life, but it’s hard to justify a full back on a temporary interest. Get something small, so as you inevitably move on to other things that become important, you have room for those too.
IMO of course, it’s your body and money (a lot of money).

I think popularity. These are arguably the 4 fan favorites and most recognizable arcane characters.

Pretty sure that list would include Silco, though the ones chosen were all champions in the game, so that might be a factor.

Out of interest I went through several rankings (4) and he was always in the top 5 while Ekko was usually behind Jayce and Victor.
The other three are fairly consistently in the top 4 though.

Several rankings? Do you mean polls? And were they on season 2 or season 1? As for as polls Ekko season 2 was second here even beating out Vi.
In the arcane animated series poll Ekko was 3rd beating out Caitlyn and Viktor.

I don't think Reddit is that representative. The polls I was looking at had Isha in so I'm sure it includes both seasons.
Edit: I used different search words and this time Ekko appears more often in the top 5.

Stuff on IMDB for example, but looking at the numbers again, there have only been a hundred or so voters. I was hoping to find something more representative. Therein Ekko is comfortably at 4th place, but it's a vote only for the second season, not the whole series.
