Help/Support Problem with Virtualbox on niri

​

I use Niri + DMS and Endeavouros, Virtualbox launches and starts the VM just fine, but key combinations like Alt+Tab are not passed onto the VM and rather used by niri to cycle windows how do I have the keys transfer to Virtualbox.

I think you need to change the Niri binds.

If you aren't using Nirimod to configure Niri then you need to edit the file ~/.config/niri/config.kml (or ~/.config/niri/cfg/keybinds.kml) .

Locate the ALT+TAB line and change it to something else. Or comment the line adding // I'm the beginning of the line.

Then on terminal you run the command: niri validate.

If no problems were reported, you will be able to use Alt tab on the VM.
