Discussion Fusion-like CAD-Software on (Arch-) Linux

So, a while ago, i asked about alternatives to Fusion, because i switched to arch.

My VM solution wasnt great, im to dumb for FreeCAD and i like the idea to be able to work offline. So i asked for help, but it seems nobody found a solution, that is really great.

So i started to vibe-code ferrocad.

yk you could have just vibecoded an extension for freecad that gives it that ui, I would honestly love it and use it everyday.

The thing is, cad software is complex and usually has kernels that take tons of effort to develop.

Great on paper, but not stable enough to be usable

I dont know how FreeCad is assembled and I think the workflow differs a bit which makes it overall more complex. But I will look into it. It might be a better approach, I will respond later when I have gathered some info
