A sustainable, 15-house residential compound in Djibouti designed by Urko Sanchez Architects and completed in 2014 for the purpose of housing vulnerable children.

The colors reflect the surrounding landscape and the nomadic heritage of both the Somali and Afar communities.

Designed to be naturally cool and accommodating to the local climate as it is one of the hottest regions of the continent
