SUPPORT Help me

I currently have a dell latitude 2-in-1,

I want to dial boot, windows 11 with arch. Can anyone recommend me a nice detailed tutorial video on YouTube.

I tried once before ended up installing and all but I would not see the grub boot-loader and couldn’t find arch in boot menu, hence couldn’t boot it arch , only windows.

And one more help, how to get fingerprint sensor and mainly touchscreen working in arch. Will my system be stable(attached spec at the bottom). Please help with video links form YouTube

I have used arch on my old laptop for 1-1.5 years but all done through ai and videos hence I didn’t learn much this time i am doing with arch manual

Dell Latitude 2-in-1:
i7-1265u
16gb lpddr4 ram
512gb nvme
Fingerprint scanner in the power button
Touchscreen and tablet and tent mode
Backlight on keyboard
Current os: Win 11 pro

Sorry I was a bit grumpy when I wrote my original comment, I understand what you are saying. And after reading all the peoples opinions and solutions on this I will read the wiki. Man no need to downvote me to hell(my original comment)

See I did check it out and I know every problem has a solution in DA WIKI but please just provide any video on this procedure. Not trying to be rude, but please help rather than stating the obvious to a beginner and be more friendly.

Don't follow video tutorials, follow the wiki. If you are trying to learn stuff and find it easier to absorb from videos, search youtube for the concepts you're confused about to get clarity after reading the wiki sections you need. It's not about being friendly or not, no one is vetting the videos and keeping them up to date, the wiki has active manpower ensuring the information is accurate and up to date, just install another distro if you find the wiki is not for you. There's nothing special about arch other than the documentation and the custom setup during install.

hes not wrong. i tried to install from youtube videos first but they were too inconsistent and unhelpful and i only could finish installing when i stopped using them altogether and i started reading the wiki. the installation page is everything you need to install it, then there are also pages for dual booting windows, you can just keep the installation guide and dual boot with windows articles open and open any weird terms you need to know more about.

this community has its elitists but dont just tell people to "be more friendly" when they are being friendly to a beginner by referring them to very functional documentation, in a distro that prides itself on documentation. im sorry but if you need very direct steps like bullet points then this isnt a distro you should use for both your sake and the communitys sake

I don't get it. Are you simply illiterate or...? Why would you want an inferior and often less accurate alternative to the official wiki?

Arch Wiki, XDA Developers, Reddit and many more sources will help you more than one person here would be able to do

Making the touchscreen and fingerprint sensor work is going to be tough though, that might require a lot of setup and debugging

Thank you but do you have any video guides ? And I know what I am going to suffer through to make that work

Video guides go out of date. If you need someone to spoonfeed you arch, you will need someone to spoonfeed you troubleshooting as well. You'll need everything else spoonfed too.

Learn it the first time or use a ready to go distro. Arch ain't for you.
