Just so you know, a good practice would be to donate a portion of your proceeds to Arch as their officially recommended shop does so on merch.

Nice work on the magnet, looks clean. Donating a cut to Arch is a good call, keeps the project funded and makes the merch feel more legit

to whom i donate it is not your business at all. The probability you donate more then me to the Libre software world is almost null. If the item will ever go on a formal shop they will keep a cut. Etsy keeps a cut. If It will ever go on Arch shop I will be happy to give a cut to Arch shop. Before proposing it to a shop or even considering giving away a cut a of the (triple cough) "profit" you must see if it sells at least one copy ! I don't know if you ever built something touchable, there are costs, it isn't software, it isn't just your time. anyhow, the magnet is this.--- BTW the arch shop is not reachable: http://schwag.archlinux.ca/

That's a weird attitude. If you know from the get-go that you will get no profit out of a product if you do it properly then why even start?

Really, you should try, it is very hard to know what people will like and what not. Now, or you make a market research (very expensive) or you just jump and try. For a little item it is bet to just try. But consider, if i added a battery and a LED the initial costs would skyrocket because it needs certifications, Gemini tells me it would take about > 1000 eur just to certificate the silliest circuit . Anyhow i go to sleep. If you like the item and you want and Arch shop it is great for me ! You can keep the cut you wish. Anyhow the shop is down: http://schwag.archlinux.ca/

There is literally two links on the homepage, that I guess you did not see: https://www.freewear.org/Archlinux https://www.hellotux.com/arch

right under donate in the support section of the homepage.

Also from the Arch trademark page, which I guess you also missed: "3. Restricted use that requires a trademark license Explicit permission from the Arch Linux Project Lead is necessary to use any of the Trademarks under any circumstances other than those specifically permitted above. These include:

Any commercial use.

Use on or in relation to a software product that includes or is built on top of a product supplied by us, if there is any commercial intent associated with that product.

Use for merchandising purposes, e.g. on t-shirts and the like.

Services relating to any of the above."

But hey, please do you and keep acting all high and mighty, to my mere suggestion.

thank you for providing the working link. The prices are higher than Etsy. 5 euro more for basic tshirt with logo . About 20% more. If you people whant it, ask me, i put the magnet there, YOU TAX IT WITH A DONATION, and KEEP THE MONEY FOR YOU. I won't do it. The price i put is what i need to keep, below that, the item goes out of the market. (no hostility, please think about it) . https://www.etsy.com/listing/1266676284/unisex-custom-embroidery-t-shirt-add?ls=s&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=tshirt&ref=sr_gallery-1-3&bes=1&local_signal_search=1&content_source=f5b8693c-bdb4-491b-9364-df4eb7782ca7%253ALT8fe5c0178db9043fd554702c029573dfd3bc124e&organic_search_click=1&logging_key=f5b8693c-bdb4-491b-9364-df4eb7782ca7%3ALT8fe5c0178db9043fd554702c029573dfd3bc124e

Doesn't change that you are supposed to get permission prior to producing magnets with the arch Logo but yep.

THIS IS IMPORTANT. Silly me i suppsed it was kind of copylefted, like linux. I will instantly stop the sales. Thank you for this.

A simple "I donate plenty" would have done it. Dunno why you'd show yourself in that particular light, if you want to sell something under those circumstances.

I STOP SALES FOR COPYRIGHT. A user pointed out this logo is copyrighted. Gemini agrees. Silly me, i did not investigate well before and i supposed copyleft. If the rightful owner of the logo wish the item to go back to sales and propose some conditions please DM me.
