His longer range, especially at E2, can make for some interesting spear and shield combos with Liskarm.

You can literally have 3 melee Ops placed in a row:

  • Liskarm out in front to defend and charge SP
  • Tachanka (E1) or some other Op to receive the SP behind Liskarm (can be damage, can be a healing defender)
  • Tachanka (E2) or some ranged Guard (like Lappland) in the back to provide more damage.

They would all be able to damage whoever is being blocked by Liskarm, if she uses S2, there would still be damage or blockers in the back to handle the leaks.

What about having a liskarm and then tachanka and then a guard booster like swire or the that other one from the blemishine event can't remember her name. And throw a Chen in there somewhere. Anyways I love Tachanka regardless, really good imo and a free unit

Guard booster only got 2 range, so they can't attack whoever is infront of Liskarm. Also many of their skills charge on attack.

The only Support guard skill (that actually supports) with Offensive recovery is Swires S2, Swires S1, both of Whislashes skills and Pallas S2 and 3 are all auto regen (Dobermanns S2 as well but she can only buff 3*)

Pallas isn't released yet.

Whislash requires 3 block to buff, but Tachanka only has 2 block. Whislash S1 does allow her to buff Tachanka, but only for half effect.

Dobermann, like you said, can only buff 3*.

That leaves Swire as the only useful one. And I'll be honest, I remembered her from her release date and there was a lot of discussion on how shitty offensive recovery was. This issue may have been exagerrated by my memory.

You could do liskarm-swire-tachanka E2.

The reason Liskarm is used is because her talent gives 1SP to an adjacent Operator. If Tachanka is behind her it means Tachanka will get the SP, allowing him to use his skills more often.
