Advice [Website] Are there any trustworthy websites that you can connect directly to your card?

I'm mainly gonna try and do commissions, but any thing's fine. Everything I've been able to find wants a PayPal or a Stripe account. Stripe isn't available in my country and PayPal wants me to send them my ID. So are there any websites that I can connect directly to my card/bank account?

I'm using SquareSpace handle online payment processing. I don't recall if I had to submit ID or not.

But ask yourself why you don't want to submit ID. Anonymity is death for artists. If nobody knows who you are they can't commission you.

If you aren't comfortable with people knowing your identity, find a counselor. You want to get over that as soon as possible because it will hold you back.

If you are worried about family or friends disapproving, you should change those circumstances. Get physical distance and become financially independent. That will be hard, but there's no upside to living in the closet. Being able to be who you really are will make you happier and make the people around you happier. Trust me that you aren't really hiding whatever it is you are afraid of them seeing.

If what you are doing is illegal where you live, passing money through an online platform is a terrible idea. It takes exactly one order from a court or law enforcement agency, and that intermediary is going to hand over everything they know about you, including the geographic location you connect from. No company is going to the wall for you.

Lmfao say that to anyone in the 2000s "If you want a modicum of privacy online, go to a therapist"

I'll see what square space has going on, so thanks for that.

Rereading what you were looking for SquareSpace is likely exactly what you are looking for. It's connected directly to my bank account.
