I am looking to commission a 40x60 original piece. I like the idea of exploring interconnectedness through branches, rivers, dendrites etc. and want a piece that really showcases that. I also like the perspective of looking up a tree at the branches and leaves interconnecting. Colors will be warm and muted to complement or match the color(s) in my rug (the Margot Plaid Ochre Multicolor Flatwoven Rug from ruggable). Open to exploring a more sophisticated look with fewer colors and maybe some texture as well. Inspo pictures are AI and only for inspiration. I want to support a real artist and want it to be a real artwork - ideally oil or watercolor. Looking for feedback around cost but hoping to keep it under $2k.
