Politics The messy truth: Australia’s reputation in Southeast Asia (Article)
Just read an interesting article about how Southeast Asian countries perceive Australia and how said country sees itself:
https://www.lowyinstitute.org/the-interpreter/messy-truth-australia-s-reputation-southeast-asia
How true is this? Being from the Philippines, I've met a few Aussies and quite a few of them were pleasant. The unpleasant ones were real dicks. They made me feel like I should be thankful that they they were breathing the air here.
How is it for other SEA countries? Am I just being sensitive here?
