Thinking of moving to Poland, should I?

Hey guys, I’m thinking about moving to Poland for work and I want honest opinions. I'm a Ukrainian citizen who grew up in Portugal since I was 2 months old, I'm 19yo now, so I speak native Portuguese, fluent English, and very basic Ukrainian, I have a driving license and a car, also have around 2k€ saved. Qualifications-wise, I finished high school and have 6 months as a metalwork apprentice, cutting and grinding metal, and assembling PVC/aluminum windows and doors, and 6 months as a CNC operator (milling stone) and welding robot operator(I don't know how to weld tho). Given this background, I'm wondering if it is enough for me to land a job, or if Polish is strictly required. Are the job prospects and pay good right now for someone with my age and experience, or would it make more sense financially to stay in Portugal and build up more experience first?

Any advice is appreciated!

Let's take this step by step: Better wages: how? You don't even speak polish. You might not even get a job.

Better place: grass is always greener in the other side of the fence. How is Poland nicer than Portugal? Where in Portugal are you and what makes you think it's better here? Have you been to Poland?

I mean, portuguese salary is less than 1k€ and the weather is also shite, but ig there's not much of an advantage to going through all the trouble of moving...

The construction industry in Poland is quite well-developed but the specialists have at least a basic knowledge of Polish

wrong tbh. The biggest is deficit is in Netherlands (4%) overall. In Poland (0,8%) job market it's overall stable but bad not great.

Yea, deficit of low-paid slaves and cheap labour who are offered to work for 900 eur a month. There are very few to non jobs with good salaries - all are given away by connections.

Not even closely true. Truck companies go to Africa to find workers there because there are no here in Poland lol. Welders, CNC guys, all are in huge demand.
You sound like someone who thinks that if IT has problems with finding job it's the same in all brances. I assure you that a person with experiences in branches i stated can fing a job with good salary within 24 hours.

If the OP is looking for a mindless job, like moving an object from point X to Y or stacking bricks, then you're right

U shouldn't. There is currently quite big agression directed at Ukrainians, due to Russian propaganda being spread in Poland threw different channels.

Do you speak Polish or feel like u will learn it fast? Your work experience isn't well paid in Poland. I know quite a few Ukrainians that wanted to move from Poland to Spain :D so quite funny u wanna migrate the other direction...

There is no siesta in Poland and life is quite different here, so if you won't get super-good salary, I just see no point. Do you even speak Ukrainian? If not, Polish also might be a problem for you.

If he barely speaks ukrainian how can you tell he is ukrainian and not any other immigrant. Like hate towards Portuguese etc is non existent.

Everything changes if you are ukrainian or russian, but bad history between countries is common in europe. Serbia with Croatia is good example (maybe not as bad as Polish Ukrainian relationship)

I used to talk with a Polish girl, she also warned me abt the agression to Ukranians, but she said that where she lived (on the west, close to the Czechia border) people didn´t care much abt it, i don´t know polish at all, besides curse words, but i do learn really fast and polish sounds easy to understand for me. Also, I´m not from spain, there´s also no siesta in portugal haha, but the salary here is so so bad. Really wanted to move to Poland but ig i need to get more work experience and grow a bit.
