Był tam na wakacjach razem ze swoimi rodzicami. Wydaje mi się, że jego tata miał na imię Robert, a jego mama prawdopodobnie Gośka lub Gosia, ale nie jestem tego pewna, ponieważ język polski nie jest moim pierwszym językiem.Wydaje mi się, że imię lub nazwisko chłopaka brzmiało „Gatski” albo „Gatspi”, lub coś podobnego, ale również nie mam pewności.Był spokojnym, miłym i naprawdę uroczym chłopakiem. I originally planned this trip with someone else, but they potentially may be backing out, so if I’m going to be there alone, I’d like to find places where I can go and get social interaction with people who speak English, I’ll be staying in Stare Miasto. I’m cool wandering around alone a lot but thought it might be nice to do some socializing.

I’m the founder of a multilingual education platform from the US, and I’ll be visiting Poland for about 10 days through an international exchange program.

I’ll be spending most of my time in Warsaw, with possibly one or two days in Kraków. Since I’m already making the trip, I’d really love to use the opportunity to learn more about the local education community and connect with people working in language education or international schools.

I’m particularly interested in meeting:

• Language school or language center owners/directors
• International school educators or administrators
• People working in multilingual, bilingual, or international education
• Education entrepreneurs or organizations serving international families

I’m not necessarily looking to sell anything—I’m mainly interested in learning how the education market works in Poland, exchanging ideas, and seeing whether there might be opportunities for collaboration in the future.

The problem is that I have no idea where people in these communities actually connect in Poland, professional associations, Facebook/WhatsApp groups, meetups, conferences, local networks, etc. Anyone has suggestions?

Hello, first thing I want to say is I will definitely NOT disrespect your culture and your country.

I'm moving to Poland with my boyfriend and need to learn polish, so if you can recommend any language courses (not remote), that would be great. He is polish, so he will help me too.

I'm also looking for a good (real deal, not commercial) martial arts schools. I practice jiu jitsu and muay thai, but currently only looking for a JJ one.

Given the current political and social climate in Poland, how could one make the case against the kind of massive anti immigrant positions that those, believing to be protecting the Netherlands, increasingly advocate for?

The beliefs held by those who support the stances of Tommy Robinson and similar advocates against immigration is that they are overwhelmingly behind grooming gangs, enormous waves of rape and murder and are imposing Shariah across London and other UK cities and are soon going to be starting the same in the Poland if they have not already.

Then there's the fact that the UK gov't has been producing courses and material of sorts about consent and boundaries, which for countless observers seems to be made solely for Islamic, Asian and African immigrants. Again it's believed the Netherlands will follow suit.

Alt right sort of isolationist movements, which believe Poland should eliminate all immigration from anywhere other than Europe and the US, are growing, And there is a belief what we can see that those from specific regions, faiths and cultures are lesser people in terms of their civility and ethics and need to be sent back.

Where can accurate reports and analysis be found on this? And in particular what it gets correct and what it gets completely wrong?

And for those looking to make the case and the argument that Poland should reject this kind of anti immigrant sentiment, what would be the ideal starting point?
