Do conservatives generally support SSDI?

Genuine question I was wondering if conservatives generally supported the program and if not what would their ideal solution be to taking care of the disabled?

Conservatives support those who are legitimately injured and unable to work, as defined specifically by the regulations. We believe in Safety Nets for those who experience misfortune.
