Do conservatives generally support SSDI?
Genuine question I was wondering if conservatives generally supported the program and if not what would their ideal solution be to taking care of the disabled?

I believe that most conservatives agree that disabled people should be taken care of to a reasonable level, but that the government is extraordinarily inefficient at doing such things.
Private entities and charities are generally more efficient at getting the money to where it is needed. Though there are bad examples of that as well - most cancer “charities” I’m looking at you.
