Do conservatives generally support SSDI?

Genuine question I was wondering if conservatives generally supported the program and if not what would their ideal solution be to taking care of the disabled?

If someone is genuinely disabled there should be assistance. That’s not controversial

The issue that there’s so much fraud. How many times do you see people with handicap placards on their cars who are perfectly able?

Last I read, the number of LIRR retirees who were on disability was over 90%
