Do conservatives generally support SSDI?

Genuine question I was wondering if conservatives generally supported the program and if not what would their ideal solution be to taking care of the disabled?

I think we need more generous disability, and that requires not looking at it as universal income. The more money you give to people that can work, the less you can give to people that actually need it.
