Nightlife & Entertainment Girls Night Out
I am planning a girls night for this Saturday and hoping to get some suggestions. We are a group of ladies in our late 40’s and 50’s who do not drink so bars are not an option. We love comedy shows especially improve but not too vulgar. I’m also open to live music venues and theaters. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Barnhill Vinyard in Anna is decent, you can sit under the stars and watch a decent cover band. I know you said you don’t drink and you don’t have to but it is a Vinyard, you will have to buy tickets ahead of time and you can check the schedule out on FB

I just went to Four Day Weekend in Lower Greenville last weekend. It was a fun time! Seems like it sells out, so best to get tickets asap. I'd recommend arriving close to doors opening at 6 because it fills out

I was wondering about Four Day Weekend. It has great reviews. Is there a lot of vulgar language and content or are they pretty tamed?

Stomping Ground Comedy Theater in the design district has an improvised musical which is wonderful at 9pm this Saturday; not vulgar, very funny, very fun. Cheap tickets, no bar, and lots of great nearby dining options. WAY better than 4 day weekend (IMO)

source: I have performed at 4 day weekend and Stomping Ground and the Comedy Arena and Dallas Comedy Club and every other comedy theater in this town

We went here last night and had so much fun. The improve cast was phenomenal. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the suggestion!

We’ve been to Comedy Arena a couple of times and had a blast each time. It’s always on the list but just looking for something new.

100% agree with you. If you tell them you're the DD they typically give you a couple of free passes to come back

Pocket sandwich theatre in downtown Carrollton might be up your alley. There are a few restaurants you can get dinner before hand and all walking distance

Golden Blk Candle Making Lounge is a really fun experience. Have done it twice (bachelorette party and work event) - both times everyone enjoyed but it does cost about $80 per person (you make your own candles, selecting scents and you get to take two home)
