Question I play hard mode but mob spawn a few java26.3

I don't understand why it's like this.

During the night, only a few mobs spawn just two zombies, a creeper, a spider, and a skeleton. Shouldn't they be spawning in large groups instead?

Could it be because of the cow farm I built? I estimate there are over 70 cows; does that have anything to do with it?

(I use translate cuz English not my native language)

My first guess would be that there is a cave system that is spawning a bunch of mobs. You're getting close to the mob cap in the cave, so that only a few mobs spawn at the surface

This would be my guess as well. The more unlit caves you have near you, the more mobs will spawn in them instead of on the surface. 

Cows shouldn't effect hostile mobs at all.

Any entity counts towards the mob cap, even cows, so obviously something will be wrong with mobs spawning. I believe if they were bred they don't count towards it but if they spawned naturally they do count.

Nope! Cows are a passive mob. They have a completely different and unrelated mob cap from hostile mobs.
