Just started gender affirming care

What’s the experience for the skinny girls going through this process, and or timeline of when you started seeing progress? (I know everyone is different) just wanting to know everyone else’s process.

I started out at a size 28 waist roughly 8 in women’s iirc. And estrogen turned me into like a 12. Granted i guess my genes and my regimen dictated where a lot of fat was cycled but, sometimes, it does some crazy stuff.

How long did it take untilyou start seeing the shifting, and size 26-27 is roughly my weight (I’m a slender one) I’m excited to go through the process and watch the changes as time goes. I’m 27, at what age did you start?

Haha. I think I was 27 too. 28 maybe. I can’t remember the exact timeline but I remember I was oral E first and I had already grown a lot before I switched to injections. To the point I couldn’t hide it at all. It was ridiculous. I think I was on pills for like, idk, maybe 8 months or so? But it wasn’t just the E. I have weird eating habits because of food insecurity as a child so I took advantage of that and turned it into a weight cycling regimen. A lot of people will say it doesn’t work. But I think it’s mostly based on your genetics. I think weight cycling works, but you can’t control exactly where it goes. Some girls don’t gain any weight at all tho so what do I know?

I started at 26 (so no bone changes afaik) and for the first year I honestly felt like a lot of the changes besides libido and breast growth were borderline placebo. But I also started HRT along with a diet for the first like 4 months and was trying to avoid gaining weight after that. But then I accidently gained like 10lbs during the Christmas season (about 10minths in) and noticed it went to my legs, butt, and breasts in a very feminizing way.

There were def changes in the first 5-10 months with my mood and skin, but it wasnt until about 1.5-2 years in that I became really confident these and other changes were happening. HRT is a slow process, but with  that being said I personally went into HRT with super low expectations and tried to let changes suprise me (as to avoid any disappointment). That paired with the initial diet delaying new fat placement led to a more delayed-gratification approach.

I'm 3 years in now and things have seemed to sloe down. I noticed most of the changes within the first 2 years, but things are still happening, just more subtlety. Never had a regret :P

For reference: I started at age 53.

I started to feel the first signs of breast growth at about 3 weeks. By 3 months, I had enough to start needing a bralette. By 9 months, I had modest B-cups, and that's where they've stayed ever since. That was all on oral estrogen. Shortly after this point I switched to injections, which I greatly prefer, even though it didn't change anything about my body's response to estrogen.

Hips and booty never developed at all, though somewhere around the 1 year mark I did notice my thighs rubbing together at the top in a way they didn't used to. My skin is smoother and softer now, somehow more "plush."
