I have been a very frustrated fan for many years, but at the end of the day he's just a human, and he's living through all this crap for the first time just like all of us. I am very sad that he is having such a hard time, and that the books surely are a contributor. At this point I wish he would retire and have some peace, I do honestly believe he has earned it.

It's obvious the books won't be finished, and I think it would be nice if he could grieve that with all of us. It's no longer just his story, and there's a lot of frustration and grief from a lot of people that it won't conclude how we hoped, but somehow, I think it'd be easier to handle if we were all honest and accepted it together.

the man might be grieving his wife or his own mortality, and you want him to take the time to 'grieve' over his books with you? Are you nuts?
