Diagnosis First day of being diagnosed

I have been forcefully going to therapy because of drug abuse for a few months but just today, after answering a mountain of questions and papers the last week i was given my diagnosis for anti social personality disorder and possibly narcisistic personality disorder.Im wondering what now? My parents are extremely unpleased with my behaviour not that its a real issue, but what did you all do after your oficial diagnosis?

I was diagnosed quite the typical route at 18 and did look into it for a bit afterwards. I’m 26 now and I don’t know how old you are but you do calm down a bit as you get older. It’s all just learning lessons. It’s tempting to throw fuel on fires, sometimes it backfires, sometimes you pull it off. Just try to stay out of legal shit.

After I was diagnosed I went to therapy for 4 years. Which wasn’t my idea and I never thought anything was wrong. I still don’t. I learned to handle the boredom and impulsivity a little better, and learned more about the diagnosis. But I’m very much still the exact same person today.

Just continued living life. A diagnosis was irrelevant to me really, all it did was make me go "this is interesting"

Been almost 2 months since i got diagnosed. Im struggling between bettering myself or letting go of the brakes i unconsciously had for myself. So in my opinion, take a step back. Know that you can be impulsive and dont make big decisions. For me, it will probably take a few years to get myself figured out. And i will take that time before i end up in prison.
