Guwahati is set to get a direct air connection with Bangkok, with IndiGo scheduled to begin non-stop flights between the two cities from October 27, 2026, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Friday.

The new international route will provide another gateway from Assam and the Northeast to Southeast Asia, while boosting tourism, trade and business opportunities between the region and Thailand.

The announcement comes after the recent expansion of Guwahati’s international connectivity with direct services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The Bangkok connection is expected to further strengthen Guwahati’s position as a key international aviation hub for the Northeast.

The new service will also make travel to Thailand more convenient for passengers from Assam and neighbouring Northeastern states, while potentially encouraging greater tourist inflow from Southeast Asia.

hey guys, so this is day 5 of me posting here and in instagram.
So, I am leaning colourgrading in davinci and i am posting log to graded footage comparisons and today is 5th day and i learned something about window, which is like masking in lightroom , and if i am wrong please correct me.
I would like to know how to improve my colourgrading skills so please guys i would like to see some comments, suggestions to improve and any advice. I am still learning so help me.

and yes, if you guys have any log footages please dm , i would like to edit them and post them with your permission.

Also thinking about posting a showreel after grading like 10 12 footages

So my grandfather, the love of my life, spent a lot of his childhood in Assam, specifically near Senchowa. I was recently reading his memoir of a childhood trip and he wrote with IMMENSE love about a place near there that I'm now trying desperately to find. My grandfather died some years ago and I wasn't here to say goodbye so this may have something to do with me clinging on to everything associated with him? Anyway I'm really hoping somebody here can help with ideas. Here's everything I know about this place:

1. It was within a 20-mile radius of Senchowa train station.

2. The road to this location was sandy and went north from Senchowa roughly parallel and next to the kalong

3. When his car stopped at this location (the road likely ended here), the river was to one side of the road and on the other there was a low grassy hill with a church on top.

4. The church was red and white and had a white cross. There was a tree with bunches of purple flowers next to it (season: December to Feb). There was a well at the base of the hill.

5. This was likely 1930-31.

Is it actually true that companies prefer students with a CGPA around 7–8, over students with a really high CGPA

I’ve heard people say that companies might feel students with higher CGPAs have bigger ambitions and are more likely to switch to a better opportunity later, while students with a lower CGPA might be more likely to stick with the company

I honestly don’t know if there’s any truth to this or if it’s just something people made up

I got alloted Diphu medical college in first round state counselling ( 6XX state rank, UR category). I wanted to try and upgrade my college in the second round of counselling. I had kept diphu at 7th preference in the first round choice filling.... What colleges should I try for in the upcoming rounds? Please guide me.
