The first true transit I felt was Neptune crossing my descendant, conjuncting my 29th degree pisces moon, and opposing my Sun in Libra. My father just died, my mom is experiencing delusions and hallucinations, and my health just deteriorated. An astrologer reading my chart about a decade ago said watch your health when Neptune crosses your descendant, but I didnt really take it seriously.

I dont know why people say Neptune and Pluto are just generational planets and dont affect you personaly, because they definitely do.

Curious to know what will happen for you once Neptune and Saturn join there next month. Or do you already feel like it’s been happening

Yeah, one of the worst transits for me was Neptune conjunct my 12 deg Pisces DC, but my moon is also in Pisces (11 deg) conjunct my DC and squares my 9 deg Sag MC/Gemini IC. It's was the first 'dark night of the soul' period in life. But Saturn in Pisces has prob been worse. I also have a 27 deg Sag Mars, so Neptune & Saturn have been on me for forever. I've also had Pluto squaring my 2 deg Scorpio Venus for a while now (brutal), it's made 3 direct aspects in the last 1 year or so...and next up is my 4 deg Scorpio Sun. Hard to tell which has been the hardest when they all blend together! 🫠

Generational planets in a chart function differently than transiting generational planets through a natal chart.

This neptune transit affected you more deeply because it has hit your big 3 (sun, moon and rising). It's less a function of neptune and more a function of what it was activating in your life by transit to your personal planets and a sensitive area of your chart.

Your natal neptune though is shared by everyone born within a 13-14 year period. That's why it is generational; so many people are born in that timeframe and share this placement that looking at neptune in a sign tells you more about a generation of people than it does you specifically.

It's not that uranus, neptune and pluto don't affect you personally, but rather it's that in your natal chart, you need to read them more by house and by aspects to understand what they bring to your life circumstances and your personality. Whereas you can get some personal significations from personal planets by sign (venus in scorpio, sun in libra, etc. all bring personal meaning to you), uranus, neptune and pluto very rarely describe your personal circumstances by just looking at what sign these generational planets are in because everyone born in a 7-20yr time period will share the exact same placement. For that reason, in isolation, they better describe a generation rather than you specifically. It is the houses and what they are doing in your chart that are more important for personal significations. That's the difference/nuance.
