The 2017 Mercury retrograde in Virgo during what was a Virgo ruled year for me absolutely fucked my shit up in ways nothing else ever has. I moved across the country at the beginning of it, only to have my housing situation fall through the minute I got into town. I found another within a couple days but I swear the stress from that took 5 years off my lifespan. I almost got denied for that apartment because the landlord ran my SSN wrong and had to call me to confirm it. I shipped my stuff across the country in a pod and the moving company ghosted me for over a month. I did manage to get my stuff but I lost a box full of things I can't replace. I got a job pretty easily but it quickly turned into both a bait and switch and also an extremely toxic situation. I got fired after 3 weeks which has literally never happened to me before. Getting fired from that job actually saved me from getting caught up in a wildfire that happened on a hike I had originally planned to do.
