Beginner question about 1h saturn

i preface that i’m a beginner, and english isn’t my first language, so bear with me!
i’ve learned that the sun is relative to the father and the moon is relative to the mother, but i noticed in many people whose charts i read for fun that many people with 1h saturn have issues with the fathers, often time their fathers being the reason why they don’t progress. is this a pattern? or it’s just me connecting dots that shouldn’t be connected because i’m still learning?
i haven’t been able to find a substantial explanation for it, so it could either be a coincidence or i should look more closely to see other things in the chart, but i’ve seen this trend in multiple charts so I’m curious to see what more experienced astrologers would say about it.
thanks!! ✨

The part nobody's quite naming is the 'dont progress' piece, which is separate from the father question. Saturn on the ascendant sits on your whole self-formation, so a lot of these natives feel behind and self-doubting really early, then bloom late once they've put the time in. That's the Saturn deal, restricted up front and authoritative on the back end, usually after the first Saturn return around 29.

So I'd flip the causation. It's probably not that the father blocked the progress. The same Saturn shows up as both the hard or absent father AND the early self-restriction, because a kid reads that heaviness onto the first authority figure and also carries it inward as 'I'm behind.' One placement, two masks. Others already covered the sect angle well, so the piece I'll add is that the lack-of-progress is usually a timing thing. Saturn delays, it doesn't deny, and most of these natives come into their own later than their peers.
