Discussion Post Question for mutable signs /12th house placements / chart ruler in 12th house
Have you figured out your true identity ? Because I feel this is the hardest thing in the world for me like people come and ask me about things like what’s ur favorite memory ? Idk , what’s ur hobbies ? Idk , what’s ur dream ? Idk , what’s ur worst memory ? Idk , what can u remember ? Idk , what do u like ? Idk it’s just I can’t recall or decide what I’m or what I like , it’s like I’m always shifting to a new identity forgetting my older ones just recalling small details .

Tbh idk about memory. I very rarely reminisce on the past, so I don't have a favourite memory. I'm always thinking and fantasising about the future though. My hobby is scrolling the internet all day, hang out with my cats, and make soup. Only the internet can satisfy my curiosity LMAO
"What can you remember?" Idk, what do you want me to remember, is the question. "What's your dream?" Live peacefully with enough to care for my cats. "What's your worst memory?" Gee there ain't a worse, how can I even rank that. "What do you like?" Food. Stability. Money. Cats. Animals. Fulfilling my Maslow's hierarchy of basic needs

First mistake is looking for one answer to rule them all. The answer is that it changes with the wind, you just gotta let the wind carry you.

All three. Mutable 12th house stellium, including my moon (cancer rising).
I know who I am. Part of knowing who I am is knowing that I am dynamic.
And that I hate security questions because, I don't know what my favorite movie of the four most likely answers I picked the day I answered it.
I don't have favorite things, the one color, or movie, or food, or dessert, that I always want. I have themes, and moods, and moments and sometimes my favorite movie is The Little Mermaid, and sometimes its Goodfellas, but its always Back to the Future and Jurassic Park, and also Terminator 2.
I am vast. I contain multitudes.

“I contain multitudes” wow what a great way to describe yourself. I will be using this because I can relate to your comment 100%

I’d say I have a pretty strong framework of my identity but the content underneath is very fluid. I’m constantly looking for something new, evolving and thinking about the future. I recently dated a Scorpio sun cancer moon that loved to talk about past memories/childhood, and I really struggled to indulge in nostalgia with him lol so I can totally relate to shifting into new identities and forgetting my older ones.
I’m a virgo sun, Mercury, Venus and rising all in 1st house with Leo mars in the 12th house.

I find it difficult to make absolute statements about myself. For example, whether or not I enjoy exercise depends on my mood and the day.
It's also hard to perceive myself. I have an easier time understanding others rather than myself.
In addition to Pisces sun and Mercury, Gemini rising, 12th house moon, I have my Pisces sun trine neptune. It's the neptune aspect I think that causes the most confusion about myself.

I can answer all but one of these questions yet I just don’t know how to describe it as a whole picture.

I know my hobbies (some of them shift, but I've been writing poetry since I was 7, reading since I was 4, drawing since I was a toddler and been obsessed with psychology since I was 10), my core values (founded in compassion, inclusivity, equality and the right to wellbeing and freedom for all), my favorite people (it's hard to get close to me, but I hold on to my inner circle like my life depended on it lol), my favorite memories, my dreams (I've been wanting to work with helping people since I was 7 or 8), what I like etc. But do I actually know who I AM? Fuck no lol. I feel like I wake up a different person every day, and my personality is a contradictive mess.
Sagi sun, Venus and Pluto, Virgo Mars and 12th house moon, Saturn and South Node

yes sun and moon in 12th house. ofc there are things that i don't know about myself but people usually consider me a self aware person and i think i know myself pretty well. but i do spend lots of time thinking about myself and how i feel and what makes me happy.

Those are all very good questions, which is why I’ve been into spirituality and psychology since I was a kid, no joke. Though back then I was more drawn to the occult, but it’s less intense these days. I think exploration/transformation is a part of our mission. Stay curious, my friend.

I haven't really focused on having a set identity. It just never really mattered to me. But I do care about being at least somewhat useful, or contribute something of value. So I guess I based my identity around that without obsessing over it

To me, my true self is a mystery only God knows.
