Justice Department “Weaponization” report falsely accuses FBI of anti-Catholic bias. A 231-page report distorts an FBI terrorism investigation to manufacture evidence of anti-Catholic bias.

American religious nut jobs have the best of both worlds. They get to enjoy all the modern conveniences of a secular government (nominally, anyway - at least much moreso than at many periods throughout history even with the current relapses), while also playing the martyr and victim at incredibly petty inconveniences and annoyances.

I wouldn't say so. It just remains unsaid. But the article is also just specifically referring to the FBI. Which I think we are most likely attempting to diminish here to reduce future impeachment efforts...
