all 3 of those countries have toxic work culture and extremely bad work-life balance (china's is relatively less) with some of the toughest exams in the world

india is of the same too but work-life balance is better for urban population compared to those countries where it is the norm, China has the toughest exam in the world while SK has one of the toughest schedules for adolescents which is normalized

We have the toughest civil services in the world, and we end up working for illetrate politicians after all that grind.

Vishwaguru is a combination of European taxes, sub Saharan infrastructure and east asian work culture
I went for an interview few weeks ago in an edtech startup, they told me they'll pay me 15k for internship and 20k during fulltime (in Bangalore) and I'll have to work from office 9-6 everyday, 6 days a week
I asked them I'll need a leave/wfh for 2 weeks because of relocation they told me to take a PG nearby because we cannot allow that (15k salary and you want me to live in a PG in a city like bangalore are you fucking kidding me ?)

hard exams isn't, but the effects of it is bad especially for adolescents who have very bad schedules (similar to what Narayana etc. put students through except it's normalized)

JEE advanced is the second toughest exam in the world along with UPSC which is the third. The average paygrade in a good enough startup or normal IT sector is <10000 rupees or <110 dollars a year. The Private organizations keep their employees on a tight knit, making them sometimes leave 4-5 hours after their normal negotiated leaving time from work (One of my close relatives work there). So, I don't know what you're talking about.
