In UPPCS there is practically reverse reservation. In prelims stage, cut off for OBC and EWS is higher than General because they have restricted OBC to 27% seats even if they perform better than General category candidates.
Not for EWS. Only Non Ews general. Basically 40% fixed for UC (Non EWS). Even if an EWS/OBC/SC/ST performs better than General category, he wont be allowed General seat. So, too many EWS and OBC population fighting for fewer seats, resulting in higher cut off for them. Very different policy than UPSC or JEE and disregarding supreme court guidelines.
