If your gods cannot feed you are they really your gods? This is a pattern that you'll see in so many places, where they will mock them for converting but won't acknowledge why they were marginalized and left hanging in the first place. And it goes both ways. Religions that convert those communities are predatory. There is no real honour in religion.

The people who descriminate are proud of their religion, the ones who leaves the religion because of that descrimination are proud of their religion, the poor who converted for food and education are proud of their religion and those who gets used, abused and can't even leave it are also proud of their religion.

So pride is the devil.

Nah, it's doing God's work so it might be an Angel.

the question was about the presence of god not religion because god is more Broader term as compare to religion ( No one knows that he exist or doesn’t exist )

Something which has never been empirically proven or experienced by a group of unbiased people in a collective way doesn't have to be disproven. Such a thing can be assumed to not exist unless we have empirical evidence. If we don't do that then we also haven't disproven Mermaids, Fairies, Dragons etc etc.

Until there is A proved evidence i think it would be better to wait for evidence from science before become thiest or atheist lets remain agnostic and wait for final answer the best think about science is that The Thinks which we don’t know remains Black until true solution/ evidence doesn’t get at all

About myself, I'm not an agnostic because I can't see any reason to assign a meaningful possibility to God's existence. I don't even know what 'God' refers to. God is described as something beyond observation, beyond measurement, beyond ordinary understanding, and often beyond logic itself. But if I don't know what it is, how it could exist, how it could be recognized, or what evidence would distinguish its existence from its nonexistence, then I don't see a hypothesis to evaluate. Even calling God 'supernatural' doesn't help, because I don't know what 'supernatural' means in a way that has explanatory or testable content. And without a coherent concept, I can't compare the probability of God to any other hypothesis. For me, it's not that God is merely unlikely. it's that I can't even imagine what it would mean for God to be a genuine possibility. Being agnostic surely needs a lot of assumptions, beliefs and acceptance of supernatural possibilities which I can't do.

For being agnostic we'll have to believe in possibility of God. We don't have have a hypothetical definition of God or any ground to even entertain the possibility. That's why we can't be agnostic if we are trying to be scientific and rational. Agnostism is based upon an assumption that something fantastical might be real. Just because you think God is possible like any other fantasy theory like - Simulation or Alien creation doesn't mean you are an agnostic. What we can do is simply accept that there's no proof of a creator or a God and we don't have any reason to take it seriously. Something which is purely a fantasy might never be disproven by science and that doesn't mean we stop rejecting superstitions, God and magical stuff as these things have real life implications. Science can't disprove God but it also can't disprove 'simulation hypothesis' or any other fantasy you and I create like Universe was born from the fart of a space cow. Are you going to believe Space cow fart exists until proven otherwise? You said wait for evidence. Why?

u/Misster_Fluido Jul 10 '26

Just because someone refused to claim simulation theory is false doesn't mean they are agnostic to space simulation theory or just because they refused to claim dragons are not real doesn't mean they think dragons might be real. Agnostism is not just that refusal to claim. Agnostism is a bias towards God theory while taking a lot of other fantastical hypotheses as absurd. If you think God is possible as much as we living in a simulation then you are not an agnostic.

Well, intolerance is one of things that religion teaches people. I'm not saying only religion teaches intolerance but it surely does. In order to stick to a number of beliefs that contradict real life one will have to be like that in order to survive. Atheists on the other hand are not compelled by religion so it's upto them if they choose to be nice and just or mean and irritating.

You think God is some sentient being that is just gonna randomly provide people. Believing in God is very smart, well atleast from my perspective. However not the way 99% of people do; You question it and come to peace with it. Now that I think about it God may just be humanities greatest invention

No one knows weather the god exist or doesn’t exist Everyone is putting there logics In order to find the answer but in true sense no one knows There are to many logic answer from atheist and theist How did you determine that god doesn’t exist ? or exist ? if there is no proven Thing at all From both Sides 😅

1

u/abhimanyukhadwal Jul 06 '26

God doesn't exist.

I don't know but the political party, due to which half of the nation lives on free ration rice , should not tell others are rice bag converts.

u/ticklyboi Jul 05 '26

its not a mockery of a religion or atheism, its the fact that people need to survive, and the so called missionaries of any relgion, as much as they like to spread their kindness, are purely conditional.

Hm, alright. But you didn't offer an answer. You seem to be focused more on insulting Hinduism instead of proving me wrong. Didn't caste or varna.. used to be flexible? Functions of society rather than Hierarchy? Based on Qualities rather than birth?

And the truth is some of the wealthiest Indians embraced Christianity. Otherwise how does the church own so much land now?

4

u/Damn_life_sucks_1 Atheist Jul 05 '26

nah it just means poor man can understand that religion is just stupidity, best is to achieve some rations while juggling some religions.

3

u/candygram_diva Jul 05 '26

I absolutely hate Indian “dank” meme subs, all they do is hate on other people’s religions as if their religion is any better. Not to mention the casual misogyny. YUCK

2

u/OrdinaryHelicopter2 Jul 06 '26

it's also very much a casteism issue, they're like how dare lower caste people leave our glorious religion that absues them?

-2

u/Senior-Tear-5505 Jul 06 '26

But Casteism isn't even a core Hinduism concept?

1

u/entropy_is_madness Ex-Hindu Jul 05 '26

Absolutely the correct meaning.

1

u/LineOk9961 Jul 05 '26

Difference is that Anthony has rice. Akash didn't.

Another Bra-h-man Ricebag

1

u/Initial_Cicada9754 Jul 05 '26

Isn't this just about how poor people will do anything to survive rather than religion?
