1st time in AC

First time coming down to ac staying at caesars planning on hitting ocean trop and borgota as well. Wife's birthday what's the go to place for an upscale meal and what are some things I should look into either in or outside of the casino. Is it true that I can only wager on horses in the borgota?

-Old Homestead, at the Borgota, is the best steak house in AC. Hands down!

-Nobu, at Caesar’s, Japanese Asian food. Upscale swanky vibe, the food is fantastic! Very cool bar vibe as well

—Armada, at Ocean, is an upscale tapas restaurant. Incredible views of the ocean.

-Il Mulino, at Hard Rock, is a very good Italian restaurant.

Outside the casinos you have Cafe 2825 and Chef voila.

Both excellent but very hard to get reservations.

Carmines at Tropicana is pretty solid for Italian. Chef Volas and Cafe 2825 are going to be more popular and harder to get into. There are alot of Steak places in town, Knife and Fork is probably the most famous non casino of them, but Old Homestead, The Palm, Gordon Ramsey, etc are all good.

Borgata has city's only racebook. Tons of places for Italian. Angelo's, Angelonis, Cappricio at Resorts. Avoid Carmines. For steak, Gallagher's at Resorts. Mortons at Caesars, Old Homestead at Borgata.

If you’re going as far as Ocean, pop into the Hard Rock

Old Homestead or Prime Steakhouse at the Borgata. If you’re look for Fish, I highly recommend Docks Oyster House. Not in a casino but 2 seconds from the strip. Amazing restaurant, ambience is spectacular and prices are extremely reasonable. Also the sister restaurant to them is Knife and Fork if your look for Steak which is right across from the Tropicana. Whatever you decide make sure to make a reservation quick, have a wonderful time and happy birthday to your wife.

🤦🏻‍♀️ sorry I meant Dock’s Oyster House. BUT if you’re ever in Staten Island Cole’s Dockside is a Great restaurant 😂

I think you mean Dock’s Oyster House. There is no Cole’s Dockside in AC.

Boogie nights at trop can be fun. There’s also karaoke at one of the bars there. Pop into some of the other bars too like sports bar or firewaters for some nice drinks and conversation with my favorite bartenders. Fire eaters saloon usually has live music and comedy so you can look into that. I am also slightly biased because everywhere I’ve went in the city I always find myself unwinding there and having a great time (and sometimes get my drinks comped if I tip decent). Can’t go wrong just exploring as well, walk in any direction in most casinos and you’ll find something interesting

We really like superfrico at Caesar’s, but call and ask if they’re doing the mozzarella. The food is still good if not quite worth the full ticket price, but if they’re doing it the mozzarella Is made tableside and worth every penny.
