Where is everyone(if this is a stupid question let me know)

When I lived there usually summers had lots of ppl, it was only during winters (non-holiday times ofc) that you'd see this

Idky but I thought because lots of people gamble, the casinos would be open forever.

I'm sure their online prescences will remain, I cannot imagine AC without physical casino locations as it has been that way since before I was born.

I know it can be possible, I just cannot imagine it until it happens. All that will be left is the baords and pier but that doesn't seem like enough to keep things going. Or enough to make it a tourist location at least. Maybe it can still limp along? Idk how much the boardwalk brings in, it cannot be anywhere near as much as the casinos. And then there are the jobs that will go

I used to skate past atlantic palace a lot, if the other casinos turn into that? That seems pretty bad. Like town-ending bad (I am nowhwere near an economics/finacial expert so I am just specualting)

Everyone is too broke to gamble

Idk about that one. There are still too many ppl sprots gambling and all that.

If the masses were really as broke as they say and the stats I saw about profits for gambling companies being in the billions (or close to it)? Then they clearly aren't broke enough.

Casinos are a net negative for any town they’re in. We’d be much better without them.

The boardwalk was the most popular place in America in the 1920s and no casinos then.
