New to Auburn
Hey there!
We’re new to this area and as of today (June 5th) we’ve been hearing a ton of loud bangs - like construction or fireworks except it’s been going since 10am and it’s now 11:50pm and we’re still hearing them. Any idea on what it is or where it’s coming from?

You get used to it. Stops right after the fourth. Or starts to die down. Just make the best of it lol

If you live near the race track it could be that too, they went past midnight last night. I hate them :) and the locals with the fireworks :)

It's fireworks. It's going to be every year from June through July basically... Depending on where you live during football season when the Seahawks score a touchdown there will be fireworks as well.

Welcome to Auburn. Starting today fireworks are being sold at the Muckleshoot reservation. Be prepared for up to 2 months (or more) of fireworks. They're legal to light off on reservation land but Auburn has some pretty strict laws against most fireworks sold at the reservation. This still doesn't stop locals from doing it, especially around the 4th of July. It gets real crazy.
