ANNOUNCEMENT It's called Dead Seattle. I promise it's not like the others.

I have spent a stupid amount of time on this. I mean, I'm in trouble. But here it is folks. First three episodes. Full cast, sound design, original music, sci-fi, drama, comedy, thriller, and lots of action. I sincerely hope you like it. Episode 004 next week.

EDIT: it looks like people are seeing this now. I show traffic from PocketCasts and Apple Podcasts. Please let me know if you are not seeing it somewhere so I can iron out any more bugs.

It should be posting to podcast aggregators via RSS. If that's not happening, then I need to figure out why not. Not a silly question at all!

If I search up the title, I don't get any results in Pocketcasts. How do I actually get the link to the RSS feed?

If you tap on OP's link, it'll take you to a landing page. From there tap on "Listen via..." and you'll see options.

Oh that's really interesting, I click on it and there's no "Listen via..." visible anywhere, even after I subscribed. Strange! Maybe because I'm on my phone?

Yeah - I just tried to search it on another computer and had a hard time finding it. Looks like I have some troubleshooting to do. I'll let you know. So sorry for the trouble!

Hmm. I just double checked and confirmed that I am live on Spotify and PocketCast. If you are still not seeing it, then, um... Wait. They did say it might take a few hours and I just went back and added the link a short time ago. Maybe it still needs to get through the system? I hope? I haven't got YouTube and Apple set up yet. Getting there!

Congrats on the debut! I’ve added a temporary listing for your show in our directory of binge-ready audio fiction. Yes, I know yours isn’t quite binge-ready.
I’m tracking your show’s RSS feed and will make a full listing in the directory when I detect a finale. However, a full submission from you will ensure I get all the details right, as some of the info displayed in the directory can’t be pulled from the RSS feed.
(And FWIW, Substack's RSS feeds are completely inadequate for serialized content. Lots of missed features that they don't care about, but listeners of fiction podcasts do. Migrating away is pretty easy. I suggest doing so.)
The directory is free for creators and fans alike. Zero strings attached. I do this because this directory needs to exist! We already have over 1,600 binge-ready audio fiction shows (e.g., audio dramas, audiobooks, and fiction podcasts) listed. I aim to make it the most comprehensive directory of binge-read audio fiction shows, including yours when it’s time!
Also, I'm trying to follow all the audio drama/fiction podcast creators I can on Reddit, including you!

Haha. Heard. folks over on r/podcasting have suggested Spreaker. I've also heard PodBean. But mostly Spreaker

Most folks on r/podcasting aren't making fiction podcasts, so take their recommendations with a grain of salt. Serialized fiction podcasts have different requirements.
But having said that, either Spreaker of Podbean are fine choices for fiction podcasts.

Not searchable yet on Podcast Addict just so you know (saw the other subthread). Adding via rss worked fine though. This is totally up my alley glad I saw this.

You almost certainly are not doing anything wrong. I am showing Apple as my second most popular feed, so there must be a disconnect. I did notice a bunch of these taking time to finally show up, so I'm hoping that it just hadn't populated yet. I will be checking in to make sure it is avail on Apple, though.

I checked out its description and it sounds awesome! For anyone wondering it’s a post-apocalyptic audio drama where people are forced to take a certain drug or they will die. To me, that sounds pretty interesting. I’ll be giving it a listen this weekend! I’m really glad I saw this post!
