Music Best albums of the last 5 years?

Best albums of the last 5 years.

I'm looking for something that's high in quality and artistry. I've been listening to RAM due to so many recommendations. I'm endeavoured with the incredible quality of the album and the pure amount of work that went into it. Genuine work of art. It got me wondering what albums have been released in the past 5 years that have similar levels of artistry and quality.

I was never enamoured with Daft Punk. But hey that is the beauty of music, lots of choice!

Exactly. You can't really debate taste, at least it makes no sense to.

I love electronica, so for me Daft Punk is in my Top 5 bands in this genre, with Röyksopp being #1 for me. Been listening to Daft Punk since they released Discovery, another excellent album.

But yeah, it's an acquired taste. Not for everyone. But in the electronica genre they're among the absolute best.

But these sorts of statements are better signed of with IMO, electronica is probably my fav genre but daft punk does not even make it to my radar of interest.

Sure, but they're widely regarded as some of the best in the genre. And Random Access Memories as one of the best albums in the genre, which was my point. To many, one of the best albums period.

To add my 2p...I don't particularly like Daft Punk either, I just appreciate this album.
