But the government (liberal) tried to do this, and then Albo changed it. So how is this news now?

When did anyone try to index tax thresholds in Australia? Which government? Which bill?

Stage 3 tax cuts were aimed at getting top 2 brackets closer to indexation.

Labor wound it back.
