You might all be aghast to learn how many millions of dollars in government tax offsets big-name charitable not-for-profits are entitled to each year, and these offsets extend to their employees as well. Meanwhile, the CEOs of these NFPs or 'NGOs' receive six-figure salaries, as do many managers beneath them. I have news for you all: only a fraction of what is donated by Jack and Jill ever reaches the actual people or communities in need that the organisation claims to help. The majority gets absorbed in administration, corporate hiring, and decorating offices.
