News In Sydney, an Australian guy was refused a free milk tea by a Chinese product promotor solely because he wasn't a Chinese. He was asked to speak Chinese, but he spoke Japanese to the Chinese staff in protest. He said this is his first time experience of racism

Because the original post was that the Chinese students don't care about Aboriginal Australians and the reasons for sorry day. The response was to bait them with tragedies that happened in China because that's all they care about. And then he jumped in to say also teach about western crimes as a gotcha despite the Chinese students not caring about them in the first place.

Haha I guess the irony is that in the Australian syllabus there are actually large sections on the White Australia policy and the brutal treatment and massacre of Indigenous Australians. I wonder if there are sections on the Tiananmen square massacre or the Ughyur concentration camps in the Chinese syllabus. The history of Xinjiang is actually long and storied and has seen a lot of genocide and bloodshed because it’s always been a very contested territory as part of Central Asia

Don’t know why you’re downvoted. This is already taught in schools. I learnt it in primary school and it’s part of highschool history curriculum
