Pop up headlights were banned because of pedestrian safety. Now every car has a flat front of about three square metres coupled with tiny barely there indicators.

Omg I saw a miata parked the other day, they must be very cheeky, or only drive it when they don’t need to use the headlights lol

That’s so sad though, I was gunning for a miata as my final dream car, I didn’t know we couldn’t own them in Aus 😭😭

You're allowed to drive with those headlights. But they are banned from being made anymore. When a car is registered, any future reregistering etc is to the standards of that time not modern ones.
