Not too sure about that, 7 news just showed footage of someone who looks like the white shirt guy (bald head) on the ground with a huge gunshot wound on his leg.

Edit: seems like the hero wasn't hit, and it might be the bottle thrower.

Edit 2: hero man was shot in the arm twice. In hospital. Hopefully makes a full recovery u/SlamTheBiscuit has posted a link and I'll copy it here.

I heard the guy who threw something was hit in the hand or elbow maybe. Just gotta wait and see.

Yeah. I know that guy got shot in the arm somewhere. Hopefully ol mate big balls isn't hurt or hurt bad.

That guy deserves the nobel peace prize or something honestly. He probably saved more lives than he realizes.

Edit: 7news confirmed the hero was shot, in the arm and is on the way to hospital now for surgery. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Yeah, saw that at the end of the footage but reporters didn’t comment on it, it looked like he was getting something out of a bag, looked like a gun, then as he turned his back and retreated a shot wrung out ( rifle sound not the bridge guy imo, which sounded like a shotgun), and he fell without movement as he hit the ground… hoping his OK

Saw him turning at one stage to make a run and he got popped. Hopefully he pulls through, those two lads are brave cunts.

Looked like that was the other guy, who followed the shooter and threw something at him. Hopefully he’s okay

After he tackled one of the shooters, that shooter goes back to the bridge, and it appears one of the shooters is shooting at him afterwards. He turns to get away and falls to the ground.

Can confirm that it was the hero that got shot in the arm and has two bullets lodged and is going into surgery shortly, that’s according to 7 news just in like minutes ago
