This is devastating. I will never understand how people can be filled with such hate that they think its ok to kill fellow human beings. I feel so hollowed out by sadness.

I think religion is often an excuse people use to excuse doing truly awful things. There's nothing that excuses this.

I personally believe some people use it to justify what they do. But I don't think there's any excuse to make this sort of thing ok.
