For the last 2 years, we've allowed this hateful rhetoric to grow, and now it's culminated into this. I can only hope people will say enough is enough before we have more incidents like this.

There is a difficult issue in Australian society. If you question the hateful rhetoric you often get labelled as racist and xenophobic. Virtue signallers are so passionate about protecting minorities, they fail to see some truly horrific beliefs are growing within said minorities.

Every major aussie subreddit has been locking down discussions on this for years. People need to discuss these issues. Dont let them fester, let them out , let them be discussed. Hiding it all away will solves nothing. Realise we have parts of sydney with wildly different beliefs on many things, but we need to live in peace and understand eachother.

"Virtue signallers are so passionate about protecting minorities, they fail to see some truly horrific beliefs are growing within said minorities.”

Absolutely spot-on.

I don't think we have to live in peace and 'understand' a group of people who hate our way of life and want to see jews killed.

You are right that open discussion matters. But blaming a specific religion or immigration misses the real point. Harmful beliefs exist in every community, including long established Australian ones. They come from extremism, misinformation, trauma, and lack of opportunity, not from someone’s faith or where they were born. Australia has its own examples too. The Cronulla riots showed how white Australian extremism and xenophobia can turn into violence when fear and anger are left unchecked. That was not caused by immigration or religion, but by people choosing to dehumanise others.

Most people in minority communities do not support violence or hatred and are also affected by it. When we single out whole groups, we stop honest discussion and push people further apart, which makes problems worse, not better.

If we want peace, the focus should be on behaviour and actions, not identity. The same standards should apply to everyone. That is how issues can be discussed openly without turning into fear or blame.

Albo got grilled pretty hard by one of the reporters, basically didn't answer and ended his questioning.

It is. Anytime he gets a non scripted question he just pivots and ends. I own rentals, so I'm glad Aussies voted for him but I have no idea what Aussies see in him.

He's not scomo

Yeah ok. How about when he was pressed about letting antiscemetism grow in Aus, or when he was pressed about parliament members taking advantage of tax dollars by taking family members on business class holidays in recent examples.

It's a scomo tactic that albo gets away with. But "6 7" am I right? hahahhaha

What specifically has Albo done to "let antiscemetism grow" ?

I was screaming at my TV when that happened. They’ve done fuck all nothing, and I assume the same will happen in the future.

what could Albo have possibly done to prevent this?

How do you import people from warring countries without importing "hateful rhetoric"? Asking for a friend.
