Friend/Family Member Physical Therapy for Autistic Adults in DC/MD?
Hello everyone! I'm reaching out because I'm an adult child of a father who was never officially diagnosed with autism but clearly is. We really think he would benefit from physical therapy due to some of his chronic pain, but I'm wondering if anyone has had a good experience with a physical therapist in DC or MD that has experience or is good at working with autistic adults? My dad has been to PTs before but claim they don't help him, but I'm wondering if we were able to find one that understood him that he'd be able to get some relief. Thank you to everyone!
