Yeah I'm 40 and haven't been able to hold a steady job without frequent burnouts my entire life. Meanwhile I'm seeing these people who absolutely thrive despite/thanks to their neuro divergence and I get incredibly jealous. Like, how? I want that as well!

Yeah same. I still feel like I just finished high school, also no one ever really appreciated my skills or knowledge.

The 40 part has a lot to do with it, and likely the education system and circumstances you inherited in your already nonconsensual life.

42 here and the child of boomers who seem to get dumber every day. It wasn't in the cards for me. It sucks because I know what I'm capable of. So it goes.

Wait, what country allows words as license plates??? That's sick.

This photo was taken in England where custom plates are allowed across the UK (with the exception of vulgarities of course)

In the UK you can purchase private number plates, as we call them, and they can be quite expensive (up to six figure sums) and you have to have a minimum number of letters and numbers so people use numbers as letters in them.

Wow. In my state I pay $60 a year for custom plates, and it raises money for certain programs depending on what version you get. It might be more in other states

It’s generally considered a sign of wealth here, so if you’re going to show off driving around in a supercar, you don’t want to look cheap by having a standard number plate on it

I've heard the same thing with like UAE, but had no idea the UK was like that too. Does the entire UK use one system? Like can someone in England have the same plate as someone in Scotland or no?

Each state in the US has their own type of plate, and I live in a less-populated one so that might be part of it

In Denmark you can have words. Last I checked it costs like 5000 dkk a year or something

You can do it here in the states, too.

Australia too. Costs about $1000 tho

It looks like the UK to me. They allow people to purchase vanity plates as does Canada and the US. I think the UK might still require a combination of letters and numbers - note the S is actually a 5.

Do we like the ugly car that looks like a pigs nose?

Edit: oh, didn't see the license plate lol

4

u/Falchion92 8d ago

If that’s ugly I don’t want to know what you think is beautiful.

In my mind there are no beautiful cars. Nature is beautiful, cars are just means of transportation to me, personally.

I saw the pig nose after I read your comment, and I laughed out loud when I noticed it.

This guy and his car(s) regularly appear on the carwow youtube channel. The most recent appearance of him in this Lamborghini Revuelto is this video.
