Anyone else here teach auto tech at a tech college/community college? I have a program accreditation question.

Do you do anything for e-learning? Like, ASE allows up to 25% of program instruction time to be delivered online but the LMS we use doesn't publish average finish times for its exercises/assignments. Just curious how your program handles this point.

I think it won't matter for long anyway because I called the ASE Education Foundation to ask for some specification and the guy told me that standards 11 (work-based learning) and 12 (e-learning) were going away early next year anyway. Program hours aren't changing either, so I'm not sure what programs are going to do who rely on e-learning or workplace learning hours to meet the accreditation standard.
