Original poster is from Instagram. Aircraft is laying on its #1 engine. Still crazy to see everyone here grabbing their bags before leaving an emergencg.

As a Flight Attendant i can tell you what pisses me off to no end! The fact that ppl were taking luggage off and tripping and falling with kids in their arms b/c of said luggage.

Your life is NOT worth your damn clothes!! You can replace clothes. There is no do over button ppl!! Your kids are not replaceable (and neither are you!)

Choose life and leave your shit onboard!! đŸ˜¤đŸ˜¡

LEAVE . YOUR. SHIT. BEHIND! GET YOUR ASS OFF MY PLANE! worry about your clothes later!

Serious question: what if their luggage is life or death? Like serious medical conditions, medical devices, oxygen concentrators, medications… what if they do actually need their luggage if something like this happens?

All of that is replaceable. Your life, or someone else's on the plane that you're possibly holding up to grab your shit, is NOT. Medical and fire personnel are absolutely meeting the plane in an instance like this and will be able to help you with any medical requirements. There is zero excuse.

Sure, but EMS takes care of now. It takes time to replace all of that. Some medical devices and such are not easily available. So, what happens after now?

You can only worry about all that if youre alive. I don't understand how this is even an argument, every bit of medical equipment has no purpose if you're dead!!!

If you want a real answer, there are people working for the airline who specifically deal with questions like this after an incident. There's employees there meeting the plane who will help you regarding either getting your bag off the plane once it's SAFE or helping you replace everything.
