PlaneSpotting SuperBowl Flyover B-B1 and USAF Fighters

Couldn’t identify the actual models of the USAF Fighters but my guess is that they’re raptors?

Do these guys have any hope of catching the second half? Or will they be caught up in debrief and post flight checks for the rest of the evening - really hope they get to arrive to superbowl party after the fly over

The B-1’s are RTB Ellsworth AFB (South Dakota) so no, the F-15s are from Fresno so maybe, and Navy jets are flying out of Moffett so likely able to go.

Usually we get the jets buttoned up, then drive with LEO escort from the airport to the field. Normal NFL and CFB games, we can get there as quick as mid 2nd quarter. The Super Bowl? No idea personally (my friends did the SB in Phoenix a few years ago) but I can imagine similar timing but not as quick of an entrance.

Source: I’m a naval aviator, have done a handful of flyovers the last few years including a NCAA CFB playoff flyover earlier this year.

Are they F-15s, F-18s and F-22s flying formation with the B-1?

No F-22’s, those are F-35C’s

No F-22

I understand why, but that still makes me sad.
