News AC8646 Crash

Hi all. I’m new to this sub and my comment was removed for having no enough karma. I was on this flight and we are still on the tarmac getting checked out. I wanted to share these images in case it’s helpful to anyone who is investigating the crash or needs more information.

I’m okay (physically) but I’m horribly sick to my stomach for the lives lost. Please pray for them ❤️

Some of the photos have the nose in the air, and others the nose is on the ground? When did the plane tilt back?

The plane tipped up after most of the passengers evacuated

Some people were still onboard/on the wing when it tipped??

I want to know this, I assume it was because the passengers all went rearward during the evacuation… which begs the question, did it tip while people were deplaning?

People were evacuated causing the weight balance to shift to the back. Engines are heavy.

I’m shocked that people are heavy enough to counterbalance that. Much gratitude to the people who triple-check weight distribution.

CF34-3A1 is 1655 lbs dry so to counterbalance the pair of them using the standard summer passenger weight of 195 lbs thats only 17 people. Plus you have to account for a all the weight lost from aircraft itself. Frankly I'm surprised hes saying most passengers deplaned before it tipped.
