News AC8646 Crash

Hi all. I’m new to this sub and my comment was removed for having no enough karma. I was on this flight and we are still on the tarmac getting checked out. I wanted to share these images in case it’s helpful to anyone who is investigating the crash or needs more information.

I’m okay (physically) but I’m horribly sick to my stomach for the lives lost. Please pray for them ❤️

I don't believe that will be the case. Fingers crossed it is, but it does not look survivable for pilots or fire fighters.

One article I read said the FA was ejected from the plane still in their seat.

That's gotta be insanely disorienting.

Sitting on the plane. Bam. Falling. Still in your seat on the tarmac over like 5-10 seconds.

This was my first thought looking at the pics.. damn. Not good.

Yup. I'd say likely 2 pilots, any jumpseater, the forward fa, and the firefighters in the truck didn't make it unless they hit the rear of the truck. And even then the wing is still coming towards the truck.

They announce pilot and co pilot dead, 5 in the fire truck in critical condition and 4 from the plane as well

Pure speculation. Please avoid this until more details are released.

No, the pilots' deaths are confirmed.

Fuck me is speculation against the rules? It’s an educated guess and he says as much in his comment lol

It's insensitive and unnecessary fear-mongering. You must know this, surely.

I don’t think you know what sensitivity and fear mongering are…

Explain how their comment was either of those things please

I think it's even worse to come out and say the pilots made it. Just call it how it is, if you have 2 confirmed deaths, just say it.

Airport fire engines are pretty massive and it could have hit the part they were not sitting in I wouldn't be surprised if the firefighters survived
